DJ Manny The Greek |
Like a Sultan that reins the throne of a House Musical Underworld, with pervading talent likely to muster up many of the ocean's most precious pearls, "his follower's". Far & wide, long and strong DJ Manny the Greek has navigated the music seas for over 20 years, starting from NJ, to NY, Miami, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Yugoslavia, Can Cun, Mexico Medellin, Colombia, as well as Greece. With a demeanor so appeasing it has a rippling effect on the crowd and his nightly sets. At the age of 7 years old, he had the capacity to read as well as write music. He was aware that music was his quintessential calling and that it would govern his life. He was a member of the grade school band as well as high school, being musically inclined in various areas, but his forte was the Trombone, .His very first DJ ing gig was June of 1987, and the very first "Club" gig was in his hometown in 1993 called "Bojos". He was branded with the name "Manny the Greek in High School and it had resided ever since. Consistently, "DJ Manny the Greek" started to DJ all of his Fraternity parties while attending Rutgers College,(graduating with a Degree in Computer Science & Economics). A stretch of 20 years Djing entails a very lengthy list of venues, of dedication to his follower's and to the Entertainment Company he has also given his craft to for many years called JTK Entertainment, specializing in Weddings, Sweet 16's etc. where he has 6 DJ'S that are employed by him .As he tends to focus on Larger scale weddings, and the Nightlife scene. DJ MTG recollects" One of the most infamous nights to have been a DJ was back in 1997, where "ABYSS" held a party that was called "Wild Life Wednesday's", which was comparable to going to see Jonathon Peter's at Sound Factory on Saturday nights. " This is where DJ Manny the Greek held an 8 year residency, at Abyss, which helped his name become more recognized at other venues in NJ such as, five straight summer residencies at Club XS, in Seaside Heights.
T.S."In my opinion, there is quite the musical War of Worlds taking place." America is the only place that Hip Hop dominates, as opposed to over seas where House Music is primary, as both DJ MTG and I agree." DJ Manny the Greek states" I have a respect for Hip Hop because, they connect their music to fashion, automobiles, jewels, etc. and that's what get's the attention of the public eye, through the media, music video's, car's, clothing, much of these things help these other genre's of music enhance in status because all of the recognition it get's due to Actors, Athlete's, etc as they promote these assets everyday life."
"It is unfortunate that there is no direct connotation to House music in America, Perhaps Runway shows promote House Music, but it is not backed by radio or television enough." The recognition is well deserved, even though it is not my genre of music, I respect it." This leads me to ask DJ Manny the Greek "Are you afraid, that the effects of not wanting to play Hip Hop have hurt your career at any point in time?" With an unpretentious tone," Manny replies ,"It's not that I don't want to play anything other than HOUSE Music, I want to please my follower's who have been so loyal, thus far, but I as well want to please the newer crowd that may not have an idea of what the party me be like , so I will play Top 40, Up tempo dance, something I normally wouldn't have played five or six years ago in a club, so from 11:30-1:00am the latest I will try to please all aspects of the crowd, the owner's as well as promoters. Then it is my time where I delve in to the House Music that is not so easily accessible, what people come to hear at my Friday Night residency at Chris Michael's Lounge, Woodbridge NJ." Manny the Greek does many guest spots such as Deko Lounge, Club 4 Sixty 6, and Show in NYC (Asseteria), as well as he will Headline Gemma Lounge during the WMC (Winter Music Conference) this year. Where besides being a headliner, he's planning to get inspired by one of his favorite DJ'S, Steve Angelo from Swedish House Mafia., as well as other's, including a friend and fellow DJ Erick Morillo, himself. All of whom help inspire him, Roger Sanchez, Tiesto, which whom he opened for at Abyss of 2008, "opening for Tiesto was the highlight of DJ Manny the Greek's career." His lists of venues are infinite, opening for Richie Santana at Pacha twice, Erick Morillo at XS, Club Envy etc.
It is only evident that the amount of dedication and patience as well as gratitude for the music is nothing but resounding through the speakers along with his tracks the moment he drops his bombs. His follower's come like schools of fish flocking to their food, needing to be musically fed by a most likely dependable source, DJ Manny the Greek. Everything about him is consistent, the energy he exudes each and every time he plays, his personality never skips a beat, and the best part about him is that he is so positive about life you cannot help but be nurtured by this enchanting DJ. There is something magical his music provides because it is as if he has stepped into the "Fountain of Youth". DJ MTG states "When you love what you do, it keeps you young .I plan on producing much more and in hopes of becoming a Global House Music DJ, as well as securing my residencies, and the whole time says the "key" is to truly be humble at all times." Was the best advice Manny had to give every DJ "young, older, makes no difference, experience is what gives you knowledge." A Sultan, is one who is known for being noble, humble, and worthy of adoration, you tell me, this DJ is not worthy of ruling his House Musical Underworld, and I will tell you to not only listen to his music...listen to him speak... |

DJ Denny Tsettos |
There are DJs who play records and then there are DJs who morph records into an entire musical experience. Ask anyone who has found themself on the dance floor of Denny Tsettos and you will find that he does anything but merely play records. It's this talent that has gained him notoriety as one of the first DJs to break out of New Jersey into the esteemed NYC club arena.
Denny has been the bridge between the NYC/NJ metropop audience and the dance floors of underground NYC nightlife for almost 20 years. He has worked within NYC's globally recognized nightclubs Crobar, Limelight, Twilo, and Sound Factory and has held residencies at Carbon, Exit, and World. His 12 hour marathon sets at Exit became the weekend soundtrack to 5,000+ Tri-State clubbers. While some DJs may forget their roots, Denny began a decade plus tradition in his home state of NJ and raised the Jersey Shore on house music every summer weekend at the legendary Temptations in Seaside Heights. His incredible DJ skills have sent him across the globe. Denny has played prime-time at nightclubs in Tokyo, Osaka, Sao Paulo, Bogota, Santo Domingo, San Juan, Cancun, Las Vegas, Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinatti, Philadelphia, Boston, Providence, and several times at the world famous Club Space in Miami. In March of 2006 Denny was invited to participate at the first ever Global Gathering held in the United States. He played along side the talents of Deep Dish, Roger Sanchez, Steve Lawler, and Murk.
Aside from his success in the clubs, Denny is a Billboard reporter who maintained the most popular and longest running radio mix-show on WKTU-New York. His mix-show, "The Sanctuary" aired late Saturday nights/early Sunday mornings as listeners from the entire Tri-State area tuned in religiously to hear what global dance groove Denny will play next. While some DJs may feel on top of the world broadcasting from the USA's top radio market, Denny amplifies his passion and hard work by adding "Abducted" to his broadcast package. Available from coast to coast, "Abducted" reaches dance music fans across the nation every Tuesday at midnight EST on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 33.
In between gigs and broadcasts Denny is tweaking the knobs in the studio. Denny's remixes of Georgie Porgie's "I Believe" and Jennifer Green's "How Can I Be Falling" charted 1 on Billboard Club Chart in January 2007 and April 2005. His list of remix clientele include Justin Timberlake, Brandy, N-Sync, The Corrs, and many more. Along with his extensive remix work, Denny Tsettos has six commercially released dance compliations.
Taking his skills to the next level, Denny has also been a record label executive and was in charge of A/R and Promotional Direction for Metropolitan Records (1998-2000). Through Metropolitan, Denny launched his own label, Metro Underground. Following that, Denny was in charge of National Radio Promotions for at the time, the top dance label in the country Strictly Rhythm/Groovilicious (2000-2003).
So, from his early days of playing local house parties, growing up with dance music, working as record label executive, and releasing several compilations, one could say that Denny Tsettos is one of NYC/NJ's major figures of dance music. |

DJ Nicky Sibilia |
Nicky got his start in the mid-1990s, energizing the college scene in Northern New Jersey at the memorable Crow Bar and making summer nights unforgettable at the Jersey Shores long-standing Osprey and cherished Casablanca.
As club hits to club anthems lite up the dance floor in the late 1990s, Nicky left his imprint on the original Metro Lounge, proving that feeling the masses is more important than impressing the few. After that, duet of Hoboken clubs became Nickys home like Riverstreet, Planet Hoboken, and of course the habitual dance fix Cadillac Bar.
In 2000 Nicky opened Panic Music, a record store that serviced other notable DJs such as Johnny Vicious, Jonathan Peters, Eddie Baez, DJ Boris, and DJ Skribble. Nickys weekly music picks keep them devoted and dedicated costumers and helped to establish echoing club anthems across the country.
With the start of the new millennium, Nicky inaugurated the beginning of a new dance era. One where the club crowd traded bartops for couches, spotlights for chandeliers, and a designated dance floor for a more personal party feel. As he made the New Jersey masses feel at home at places like Medittaranneos Luna lounge, La Carta, XL lounge, and Circa, he also rotated his time invigorating the NYC scene at Deep, Vue, Lobby, Discotech, Envy, GuestHouse, Home and the time-honored China Club.
However to really recognize the sheer talent of the uncompromising DJ Nicky Sibilia, you have to spend just one summer night at the Jersey Shores incomparable Headliner. Where his unrivaled skill, technique and creativity bring 3000 chanting customers back every Saturday night. Headliner, where the hypnotic beats reflects Nickys charisma, wit, and uplifting character.
Above and beyond Headliner, Nickys present residency includes the inauguration of Pranas electrifying Saturday nights, besides his national guest spot appearances. Who can forget, Nicky taking by storm Ybor City, Florida spinning at Amphitheater, Euphoria, Twilo and then working his way south to Hollywood, Florida christening the all-new Passions at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Nicky Sibilia is the perfect crossbreed DJ that can captivate a dance floor with his tribal beats and memorize the chanting masses with groundbreaking dance tracks and remixes. His crowd-pleasing summer anthem remixes of famed pop artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Rhianna, Lola, and Hinder are unforgettable tracks. His experience and knowledge has enabled him to evolve into this essential hybrid DJ that can fuse all types of house genres tribal, deep, trance, vocals, and progressive. You have to be able to read your crowd and adapted, music has changed, and diversity and reinvention are key elements in the music world. Though it seems that Nicky has reached the pinnacle of his career, it is safe to say that he has only scratched the surface of the music scene. Regardless of where he ventures, DJ Nicky Sibilia brings his monolithic following and all it takes is just one experience. |

Sir William |
Sir William started getting the itch to spin at clubs when he first moved to Miami Beach in the early 90's. Up til then he was playing mobile gigs and rockin private parties. He and a few friends headed south to start a radio club promotion company similar to OutQue which was on air in NY.
It didn't take long for Sir William to start getting spots at the hottest clubs in South Beach. Like Club Nu, 1235/Dekos (now Mansion), Penrods (now Nikki Beach) China Club South Beach and other clubs from SoBe to Ft Lauderdale. After a few years the NJ native was home sick for a change of seasons and the famous Jersey Shore.
Once back in the Garden State, he started playing in Hoboken at Shooters and other clubs in NY and Jersey. After several years of mid level clubs and mobile gigs Sir William knew what was in his blood and what his skills were. With an aggressive pursuit of promoting and distributing mix CD's of house, progressive house and elektro house. The word was quickly spreading about DJ Sir William and the clubs, promoters and party goers started getting hooked. Not only on the smooth mixes but the programming that Sir William chose while spinning.
With original music and remixes starting to add to his arsenal, there is no doubt that SW is a force to be reckoned with in the metro area.
Residencies and regular guest spots started popping up left and right and the word spread. With a residency for almost 3 years at The Black Thorn's insane Thursday Night House Party and residencies at China Club in NYC, Mood Lounge and currently Firewater's, Sir William is getting everyone's attention. Spinning at Guitar Bar, Blend, Centrum, Star Lounge, and Chris Michael's. Going as far a Jamaica and spinning at Hedo III and Tiki Bar in Key Largo and most likely coming to a club near you........
DJ Sir William also opened for Tommy Lee and DJ Aero in Las Vegas at The Hard Rock Cafe at Body English. Sir William's style was a perfect compliment to what Tommy and Aero rock.
Every time he takes the booth it is an adventure of audio euphoria whenever and whereever Sir William spins.

Todd George |
Todd began his club experience when he was just 18 years old. The energy, driven by the music, fascinated him. He spent two years working the club scene as a promoter. The year he turned 21 he laid his first piece of vinyl onto a turntable. The skills came easy to him, and after only two months, Todd nailed his first public appearance opening for none else than the legend, Jonathan Peters, at a club in Providence, Rhode Island called Pulse. He continued with that gig every 1st Friday of the month for 8 months. A short time after that, Todd found his first residency at The Hall in South Orange, NJ every Thursday Night. It was there Todd learned how to work a crowd and really understand the music. That fall he met Ray Trosa and took his second residency at the famous Tunnel in NYC. The Tunnel was forced to close a few years later, but Todd found his home in NYC. He played at many Venues under the name,"The Great White Hope," including, Eugene's, Float, China Club, Hush, One51, Discotheque, Creme, and Lobby. From 2002 to 2003, Todd held a residency at the infamous trendy spot, Saci (now known as Arena), where thousands danced to the what Todd describes as energetic and uplifting sets. Some of his other residencies in NJ included the trendy, Pazzo Pazzo and The Barn, known for its crazy Thursday Nights. Todd can play it all. His goal is too keep the floor moving, however his first love is house. Todd contributes his style and energy to his Inspirations and Industry Influences of Denny Tsettos, Junior Vasquez, Jonathon Peters, Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone, Jason Ojeda, and Richie Santana. New Jersey has been Todd's new home for the last 2 years. He has played guest spots at Djais, 118, Avenue, XL, Bliss, Blend, and Sound Garden to name a few. DJ Jonathan Lopez |
Jonathan Lopez, also known as "DJ Caliente" was born in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia on February 4th.
With over 11 years experience on the decks as well as a flare for on-the-fly remixes, DJ Caliente always lights up the room with an intense and jaw dropping performance. His style has him transitioning seamlessly from hip hop to rock, house and latin to a collection of many genres of music mixed with relentless turntable mastery.

DJ Caliente's incredible DJ sets are truly an experience not to be missed.
As a solo artist, DJ Caliente has enjoyed enormous success based on a work ethic that embraces the most different musical genres along with the sharp instincts of a master musician. "There is no music or culture that is unacceptable to me. "One night I'll be doing a big Latin event, another night I may work a commercial college club, then I'll move on to underground house." DJ Caliente's craft, though sometimes underestimated, is in a constant state of evolution. "DJs like me, first gained respect from the musical community when they saw the amazing response we received from the crowd."
"I'm always improvising, changing the beats, & matching the records. I play off a musical intellect to do that, because I actually change the rhythm and groove of a whole song."
"Because I work in so many different markets, I can gauge what's happening all over. That's what I feed off of. I play for the people. I play what they want to hear, not just for myself. Sometimes that can be very hard when I really like an unknown record and I want the people to like it. My goal is to take them on a trip, a musical journey. "
